In Tribute of Oliver

We hadn’t seen you before Troy brought you that day
You didn’t ask for food only to play
We ran and romped till it was time for bed
Then you napped on my lap and kneaded my leg.
We picked out your fleas
While you slept on my knees
And we felt your love
Through your purring rubs
You needed a place to stay
Just for a day
But we’ll always remember our little Oliver
Our friend, the orange coated sojournour.
