In Memoriam of Sheena

In memory of Sheena, my beloved companion of sixteen and one-half precious years.

I adopted Sheena at a pet shop when she was eight weeks old, a six pound ball of fluff. The pet shop owner said she was a sweet puppy, and that Keeshonds usually live to be eight. She was sweet indeed, and we were blessed to spend two of her expected lifetimes together. My home never felt empty after I drove her home on that rainy April afternoon, except on the few occasions when I boarded her when she was young and then had to wait until the next morning to pick her up after I returned from my trip.

Sheena gave me love and joy and comfort, and I pray that I returned these gifts equally. I miss you Sheena. I’ll love you always.
